Welcome to TDS Early Learning.

 

It is my pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Tangela Sims, and my team and I are committed to supporting you and your child every step of the way.​ I am a lifelong learner and certified teacher with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Professional Management and a Master of Science in Education, both from Nova Southeastern University. Throughout my career, I have served in preschool, private, and public school settings, working with students and teachers from Pre-K through 5th grade. These diverse experiences have shaped my passion for creating meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning environments that nurture both academic growth and confidence. When I am not coaching and mentoring teachers, I enjoy spending time with my family — my husband, our two daughters, our young son, and our beloved puppy, Colbe.​

I believe strongly in balance — in the classroom and at home. Like many families, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted what once felt steady and predictable. During that season, my family and school community quickly implemented new resources and support systems that produced innovative and impactful results. One of those outcomes was the vision that became TDS Early Learning.

I understand the importance of having a strong support system while raising children in an ever-changing world. My philosophy is simple: be a part of the village. Provide intentional support, meaningful resources, and genuine care that positively impacts each child’s learning and development — while honoring the true superstars who build the village: parents.
